Faro Station is the town's transport hub with trains on the Algarve Line and to Lisbon. Local Proximo buses connect to Faro Airport.
There is quite a lot to see and do in Faro including museums, historic buildings and shops.
Places to visit include the Museu Municpal de Faro (Museu Arqueologico), the Capela dos Ossos, or Chapel of Bones, is decorated with the remains of 1,200 monks and the Maritime Museum (Museu Maritimo).
