Lisbon Tram 24 (Elétrico 24E)
Tram 24 (Elétrico 24E) travels from Campolide to Pç. Luis Camões (B. Alto) via Rato, Príncipe Real and Largo Trindade Coelho.
Lisbon's trams (eléctrico) are operated by Carris along with the city's buses and elevadors.
There are six tram routes (#12, #15, #18, #24, #25 & #28) in Lisbon running along 48 km of track.
The six Lisbon tram routes are the #12 from Martim Moniz to Miradouro de Santa Luzia in Alfama to Praça da Figueira and back to Martim Moniz in a loop (Circulação Castelo)
The #15 from Praça da Figueira to Algés (Jardim) via Cais do Sodre and very useful for the sites such as the Torre de Belem, Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and the Museu Nacional dos Coches.
The #18 from Cais do Sodre to Mosteiro Jerónimos.
The #24 from Praça Luís de Camões to Campolide.
The #25 from Rua da Alfândega near Praça do Comércio, via the Estrela Basilica, to the Prazeres cemetery.
The #28 from Martim Moniz to Prazeres.
The Lisbon fleet consists of 48 trams, including articulated trams (on the #15 route between Algés and the Praça da Figueira), light and traditional trams.

Route & Stops
The #24 tram was reinstated in 2018. There are future plans to extend the line to Cais do Sodré. Campolide is not on the Lisbon metro with the nearest metro station at Sete Rios to the north. In fact, the Campolide tram stop is a 15 minute walk south east from the railway station and is closer to the Estufa Fria in Parque Eduardo VII.
The full list of stops on the line is:
Campolide (Fertagus line to Setúbal)
Amoreiras
Rua Amoreiras
Jardim Amoreiras (Mãe d'Água)
Rato (Lisbon metro)
Rua Escola Politécnica (Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência & Jardim Botânico da Universidade de Lisboa)
Largo Trindade Coelho (Church of São Roque and the Museum of São Roque)
Plaça Luis Camões (150 meters from Baixa-Chiado metro station)

Schedule
From Campolide Station the first tram on weekdays is at 7.20 am with the last tram at 8.30 pm. In the opposite direction the first tram is at 7 am with the last departure at 8.05 pm.
(See www.carris.pt for full details).
There are reduced services on Saturdays and much reduced services on Sundays and public holidays.
Journey time is 19 minutes.
NOTE: particular care and attention should be taken on the #28 tram and the older #15 tram. Pickpockets are known to operate on both routes, particularly the #28 which is often crowded and is a jerky ride, so standing passengers are concentrating more on their balance than their belongings.
