Porto Card
If you are staying in the northern Portuguese city of Porto for any length of time the Porto Card is highly recommended.
The Porto Card offers free and reduced entry from 10% to 50% to many museums (Casa da Música, Casa-Museu Guerra Junqueiro, Tram Museum, Military Museum, Contemporary Art Museum Serralves etc), monuments (Porto Cathedral, Stock Exchange Palace, Clerigos Tower etc) and attractions in Porto.
There are also discounts available in some stores and on guided tours. There are discounts in some Porto Cellars: Real Companhia Velha, Poças, Ferreira, Sandeman, Cálem, Burmester, Cockburn's, Taylor's and Grahams.
In addition, there are also discounts in some Theaters and Concert Halls: Rivoli Teatro Municipal, Teatro Municipal do Campo Alegre, Teatro Nacional São João, Teatro Carlos Alberto, Mosteiro São Bento da Vitória and the Teatro de Marionetas do Porto.
Porto Cards which include the transport ticket Andante Tour offer free transport on the Porto metro, the Guindais funicular (25% reduction on 1 journey), STCP buses, and CP-Comboios de Portugal's urban trains between Valongo, Espinho and Trofa.
There are reductions on bus routes operated by: Maré, Espírito Santo, Maia Transportes, Valpi Bus, ETG, MGC, A. Nogueira da Costa, A.V. Landim and A.V.Pacense.
The Porto tram is not included.
Porto Card is available from Official Tourist Offices, some online platforms, some railway stations and Nova Câmbios shops at the airport.
The card comes with a useful information booklet complete with the participating museums and means of transport.

Types of Porto Card
There are various types of Porto Card. These include:
Walker One Day - 6 Euros - includes guide booklet, discounts on museum entrance etc (see above).
One Day - 13 Euros - includes Andante Tour 1 travel pass, guide booklet, discounts. The Andante pass with the One Day Porto Card offers free travel on public transport for 24 hours after the first validation.
Two Days - 20 Euros - includes 2x Andante Tour 1 travel passes, guide booklet, and discounts. The Andante pass with the Two Day Porto Card offers free travel on public transport for 48 hours after the first validation.
Three Days - 25 Euros - 1 Andante Tour 3 travel pass, guide booklet, and discounts. The Andante pass with the Three Day Porto Card offers free travel on public transport for 72 hours after the first validation.
Four Days - 33 Euros - 1 Andante Tour 4 travel pass, guide booklet, and discounts. The Andante pass with the Four Day Porto Card offers free travel on public transport for 96 hours after the first validation.

Railway Stations
During high season (usually from June to September) there is a tourism office in the Campanhã railway station. Daily 9.30 am - 6.30 pm (closes 1 hour for lunch according to train arrival times)
