The Museu Futebol Clube do Porto (FC Porto Museum), at the Estádio do Dragão, is of particularly interest to fans of one of Portugal's top clubs - FC Porto - as well as to fans of the game itself.

This large museum is extremely well done and can take a couple of hours to see all the exhibits.

FC Porto have been champions of Portugal over 20 times and winners of the 2004 Champions League, when managed by Jose Mourinho, and the 1987 European Cup in a famous 2-1 win over Bayern Munich.

Exhibits

The FC Porto Museum traces the history of the football club going back to the formation of the club in 1893 by António Nicolau de Almeida, a local wine trader, after the game was introduced to the city by workers from England.

Original shirts, photographs, memorabilia and informational wall panels trace the growth of the club, that was also a club for other sports such as hockey and handball, not just soccer.

The museum also has an impressive array of touch screen computers showing video of the club's matches and greatest moments as well as other technological and interactive features.

The many trophies won by the club are also on display as well as features on the club's greatest managers such as José Maria Pedroto, Artur Jorge, Bobby Robson, António Oliveira, Jose Mourinho and André Villas-Boas as well as many of the club's greatest players over the years such as: Branco, Ricardo Carvalho, Deco, Fernando Gomes, Hulk, Rabah Madjer and Vítor Baía.
