Porto Airport aka Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (Porto) or Aeroporto do Porto Santo - (Tel: 229 432 400; airport code OPO) is Portugal's third busiest airport after Lisbon Airport and Faro Airport.
Porto Airport has scheduled and charter flights to many places in Europe and around the world. Porto Airport also connects to both Faro and Lisbon airports with TAP and Portugalia as well as Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport in Madeira.
Porto Airport is located 11km northwest from the center of Porto.

Take the Porto subway Line Violeta to downtown Porto. Trains run from 5.57 am - 1.34 am Monday-Friday; 5.56 am - 1.34 am weekends and the journey time is around 20-30 minutes. Taxis are available if your flight in to Porto is delayed. Taxis in to downtown Porto cost around 40 Euros (with luggage) after the last metro.
Buses #601, #ZA, #602 and #604 connect with various parts of Porto to the airport.
The #120 bus runs to Santa Cruz, Leça, Matosinhos, Guifões and Custóias.
There are taxis from the airport. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays there is a 20% surcharge on the taxi meter fare.
