Elvas, located in southern Portugal, has a magnificent Manueline marble pillory on public display. The monument is set on a five-step stone pedestal and the metal rings at the top are still in place. It is located in Largo do Dr. Santa Clara close to the Igreja das Domínicas and a short walk from Elvas Castle.
