Mainland Spain has several international airports.
These are as follows:
Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD). It is the largest and busiest airport in Spain, serving as the primary international gateway to the capital city, Madrid. It is a major hub for Iberia Airlines.
Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). Spain's second busiest airport, located just outside Barcelona. It serves as a key hub for Vueling and is a primary airport for international flights to and from Catalonia.
Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP). The main airport serving the Costa del Sol region and a major gateway for tourists visiting the resorts of southern Spain.
Valencia Airport (VLC). An important airport on the east coast of Spain, serving the city of Valencia and surrounding regions.
Alicante–Elche Airport (ALC). A busy airport located in the Valencian Community, catering to tourists visiting the Costa Blanca.
Seville Airport (SVQ). The main airport serving Seville and the western Andalusia region.
Bilbao Airport (BIO). The primary airport in the Basque Country, serving the city of Bilbao and northern Spain.
Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport (GRX). A smaller airport mainly serving the city of Granada and the eastern Andalusian region.
Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ). Serves the famous pilgrimage city and the surrounding region.
Murcia Region International Airport (RMU). A newer airport serving the Region of Murcia, with a focus on international and low-cost carriers.
Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ). An airport in northeastern Spain serving the city of Zaragoza and acting as a cargo hub.
A Coruña Airport (LCG). Serves the city of A Coruña and the northwestern region of Galicia.
Salamanca Airport (SLM). Serves the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and León.
Vigo Airport (VGO). Has mainly domestic connections to Vigo as well as Ryanair flights to London Stansted.
Badajoz Airport (BJZ). Domestic connections to the border town of Badajoz.
