Setúbal, a pleasant town south of Lisbon, has two main hubs for local and long-distance buses.

These are the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário TST) near Praça do Quebedo Station and Setúbal Station on both the Fertagus line from Roma-Areeiro and Entrecampos and the Sado Line (Linha de Sado) to Barreiro.

Transportes Sul de Tejo (TST) buses run from both places.

Some long distance buses from the Algarve stop at the main bus station including buses from Aljezur and Sines.
