Euro2004 matches took place at the club's home ground, Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques, named after Portugal's first king, Afonso Henriques, believed to have been born in the city. The modern stadium has a capacity of approximately 30,000 and underwent improvements costing around US$28 million prior to the 2004 European championships.
There is a stadium museum and shop and 45-minute tours of Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques stadium including the changing rooms and pitch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
