Braga Estádio Municipal de Braga (new) - 30,000 capacity.

Braga is home to Sporting Clube de Braga and their new, expensive US$80.4m home is located in a spectacular setting - carved out of the granite of Monte Castro, a former quarry - truly a unique stadium, designed by Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura.
The stadium is presently known as Estádio AXA following a sponorship deal with the French insurance company. There are no stands behind each goal only at the sides and it is possible to move between each side of the pitch by means of an underground tunnel.
Sporting Clube de Braga have won the Portuguese Cup and have competed in European competitions getting to the final of the Europa League in the 2010-2011 season, but are yet to win a domestic championship, which is dominated by the big three Portuguese teams: Porto, Benfica and Sporting.
