Praia do Amado

Praia do Amado is a large surfing beach with few facilities save for a few seasonal restaurants and cafes. The car park serving the beach is packed with camper vans in summer. Praia do Amado is south of Aljezur a short distance south west of the village of Carrapateira.

Praia da Bordeira

Praia da Bordeira is another surfers' favorite north of Carrapateira, again with few facilities on one of the area's most natural spots. The large beach has dangerous currents so please be careful with children.
