Dining
Each of the hotels’ restaurants has earned acclaim as a
haven of gastronomic delight - veritable "embassies" of
the best tastes of Portugal as well as of classic French cuisine.
Naturally, such a reputation can only be enhanced by the wide range
of Bussaco wines on offer, exclusively produced since 1919 with
grapes grown on Almeida Estates in the demarcated Bairrada
region.
The Alexandre de Almeida Hotels of Portugal chain continues
to thrive. Its current Managing Director, Alexandre de Almeida -
grandson of the company's founder - holds as top priorities the
aims on which the chain was founded: to provide its guests with
fine accommodation, quality service, excellent cuisine, and top
value for money in the fields in which it competes.
